  • Table for Six Sydney

Do not bother signing with Table for Six in Australia. Paid over $400 for a 12 month membership and had to sign an agreement. The owner is clearly only after money and was happy to take my credit card details over the phone. When I did attend a dinner, it was clear that there were fill in males who were well over the set age limit. I dared to complain via email about my membership and all I received was standard cut and paste replies about the agreement. When I tried to call I was advised that I could only communicate with them via email and they would not consider a refund. A money making... More...

  • Table for Six is a Scam!!!

I paid a lot of money for a 12-18 month dating service with Table for Six. The sales person was VERY pushy, and was not completely forthcoming. I went on three dates in the 18 month period, and they were always a long distance away. My "matchmaker" never took into consideration the distance that I was having to drive, even though I spoke to her about it. I asked for more dates, but I was ignored and they never returned my calls. The dates were much older than me and not even compatible. THEY JUST WANTED MY MONEY. I am embarrassed to say how much I paid. I wish I would... More...

  • Time for fun

I initially joined when I promised myself I would never go on another bad online date. I appreciated the fact that this company screens potential matches and you actually get to meet your matchmaker and talk to her. I have gone on a total of 3 dinner parties that Jessica set up and 2 of the drink dates and all the men I've met so far are quality men. All college educated, professional, and made the investment to join, which I like. Jessica recently set me up with a fellow salsa dancer and we've been on a few dates thus far. I like that Jessica calls me and asks me for feedback... More...

  • Staying open minded is definitely key!

I joined this service about six months ago. I met with Kim and she did a great job at describing the lay of the land. We talked about what I was looking for in a relationship, and what qualities I would like in a potential partner. I felt like she really did a great job getting to know me. The next day I got a phone call from Mandy who got to know me more, and then the following day another call from Stephanie, who described the logistics of the service and mentioned that I would primarily be working with her for my one-on-one matches. Stephanie advised that even though I live far away, if... More...

  • I like this dating service

I joined because of a recommendation of a friend. I was hesitant, it really is an investment, but so tired of online dating. I've been working mostly with Mandy and Jessica. At first I thought the guys I was meeting on my dinner parties were too old. I spoke to Mandy about it, and she said she would get me out with younger guys. I went out with some guys my age and a little younger, and none of them liked me. That was really frustrating. I asked Mandy for some candid feedback, and she invited me in to meet her. She told me to bring a few date outfits. At that meeting she gave... More...

  • If you want results, work with Mandy

I've been working with this group for months and in the beginning had awful results. The ladies they sat me with for dinners were nice, but there was zero chemistry. They were matching based on age and location, not on qualities I was looking for. I had to talk to several matchmakers before they recommended I work with Mandy who handles the SF dinners. This gal knows me well. Ever since I started with her, I have had great dinners with gals who are younger and have similar interests to me. The good thing about this club is they take chances with you if you prove yourself. As a 64 year... More...

  • Dating

This organization is great! I came in with low expectations, just hoping to make new friends and go on some evening dates. I had tried all the online sites and was just over the blind date thing. I really just wanted to go out to dinner with adults and have a few laughs. Well, I must have had the right attitude because I had two 'love connects' from my first dinner and I'm still seeing the guy from my second dinner. My matchmaker Jessica says that the men find me 'funny, down-to-earth, and easy to get along with.' Is that all it takes? Well, online dating is awful... More...

  • Finally meeting quality men!

After a long marriage and upsetting divorce I decided to give this company a chance. At 53, I had tried most of the dating sites and was very disappointed in the quality of men I was meeting. I had found a lot of men lie about their age, their marital status, and had old pics on their profiles. I didn't like the fact that the ones I didn't like had my number and the ones I liked seemed flakey. I met with Kim and she assured me that each man was carefully screened and checked out so I would only be meeting men who were highly recommended. I also liked the fact that she would relay... • Beats the online game

Since joining this organization in Oct. I have gone on a handful of dates and found the ladies to be much more quality here than those I met online. My matchmakers Mandy and Stephanie really care of their clients and have always treated me well. There's definitely a learning curve involved, especially when someone else is matching you, but they seem to have a handle on it and I'm seeing a few of the ladies they introduced me to. The dating advice and coaching is what I find to be helpful. I'm not a mind reader and it's nice when they give me the scoop on a particular... More...

  • Set up in OC by people in SF?!

I can't believe I gave this company thousands of dollars because my experience has been sooooooo bad. The woman that interviewed me made promises that haven't panned out and I heard she's been let go (go figure). I have only had two dates in 8 months, and one dinner as a "Table for Six". So I have met five men total and only ONE guy fit my profile, barely. The men have been too old, too cheap, too hung up on their Xs ... UGH!! I had a lot of matches on E-Harmony, and not enough time to sort through them. So I thought a "matchmaker" service would work... More...

  • Better than online dating

I joined the service about a year ago. I met with Kim, who also tried online dating, and she told me the guys would be a much better caliber. I had been single for almost a year, and wanted to find someone. I worked with Mandy for my dinner parties. Mandy is bubbly and sweet. I went out with a guy I met on my first dinner party about 5 times, so I felt like she had the right idea of who I would like, and the kind of guys I wanted available. It was weird, she sounds young (I asked, she is 30, so not too much younger than me.) Also, she would ask what I was wearing on my dates,... More...

  • Kudos for a great match

Despite the negative reviews I found online after I interviewed with Kim, I went ahead and made the investment in myself and the match making skills of the T46 staff. I weighed the pros and cons before joining and at the end of the day, dating will always be a gamble. Since I had tried everything else and still remained single after 3 years I figured I could lay my last chip down on this service. Well, I certainly cashed in! I met my now boyfriend on my second dinner and we both new from the moment we saw each other that there was a connection.  Mandy helped us connect for our second... More...

  • Good Experience

Joining Table for Six has been a pretty good experience so far. When I first inquired about the service I spoke with Kim and she was very positive that I would be introduced to a higher quality of men here than I had been on my own. I had told her all my online dating horror stories and she assured me the men here were prescreened and were marriage minded. Since I had tried literally everything before, I figured, I’d give this a shot. She told me I would work with Angel and Mandy and they were my matchmakers. That sounded ok, but I was still skeptical they would know exactly what I... More...

  • Oversold and underwhelming service

The folks at this company are specialists -- but in deception and manipulation and clearly not matchmaking or makeovers as they state in their marketing. So save yourself THOUSANDS and don't sign up. I wasn't expect to meet a soul mate but I was at least expecting more dinners and service. (They say they are busy and have lots to do and will short and testy with you if you imply any dissatisfaction. So much for great customer service). Since I've joined in Feb. of this year they've cut down the number of days they set folks up and no longer have social events... More...

  • A step up from online dating

I signed up with the service about 6 months ago after meeting with Kim. I felt like during my interview with her that she made some valid points about why online dating hadn't worked for me over the past 3 years. I'm 45 years old and I haven't been married. I'm not a bad looking guy and I have a good job. I just kept meeting women who weren't anything like they represented themselves in their profiles. I went on a lot of bad dates and felt like I was throwing my money and time away. I tried some meet up groups too and that was just too random and awkward to remain... More...

  • I met my boyfriend here

I've been a member for almost a year now; I think I've been on about 5 dinner parties, and 2 one on one dates. I signed up with Maureen in their Irvine office, and felt like I was in good hands. I was a little surprised to discover that she wouldn't be my matchmaker, and that I would be working with Annie. I did like talking to Annie, and felt like she was getting what I wanted, so it was ok. I'm in my mid 40s, am divorced and have a daughter. At first I thought I wanted to date guys who didn't have children, as long as they were were fine that I was a mom.... More...

  • Table for Six

I was a male member for a year. T46 isn't perfect but either are those members who expect to meet Brad Pitt or Angelina Joline. Have realistic expectations. I had a good experience with them. They told me I would meet women and I did. They need more men but that's a sales issue. The T46 staff was young and inexperienced. I could have sold 10 memberships in the time it took Heather to tell me about the product. More...

  • Very bad experience

I joined T46 last year and paid nearly $2000 for the service. For the past year, they only introduced me to 2 dinners & 1 one-on-one meeting. They might not have enough men to introduce to women, but I don't think they have kept their words as they stated. The sale was VERY pushy and all they want is money. Later when I spoke to one of the member, and he even told me he joined for free ! I was furious. Why do rest of us have to pay $2000 or more, while other members join for free and went to dinner all the time? It's a very unfair practice, and when I wrote an email... More...

  • Table

I was a member with Table For Six for about two years mainly because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of disputing the contract. I rarely write reviews, but I feel inclined to share my experience in this case. During those two years, I went to roughly 20 dinners, and participated in a few events, so I have participated enough to give an accurate review. I joined Table for Six when I just turned 27, which turned out to be very young relative to the rest of the members. During my two years, I met exactly 6 women that were my age or younger. I ended up dating a few of these... More...

  • Awsome

My motto is ‘be happy’. Life is filled with good and bad which is obviously a test to see if you can remain happy. The way I see it, anyone who signs up with this company has a much better chance of being happy. Ever since I joined, I’m much happier than before. Two years ago, I walked into their office in Sacramento and spoke with Heather who is the director there. She told everything I needed to know. All the services and prices were explained to me. After that, I sat down with one of their professional matchmakers named Suzanne. She gave me an interview for... More...

  • one of a kind

I decided a while ago to tell as many people as possible about my amazing experience I had with this company. To be honest, I never really thought about checking out any matchmaker services. I didn’t really think it was so common that someone can match some stranger up with his/her life partner. Well, I was wrong. Last summer, I accidentally came across their website. I read all about them and all the different services they provide. I also read different reviews (bad and good) on a few reviews sites. Personally, I didn’t really believe most of the bad reviews. They... More...

  • no thanks

I signed up and was soon disappointed when they had men double my age sit at my table and attend the larger group events. At many of the events women chat in the rest room about how disappointing this organization is. All they want is your money, and they really do not match you up at all. I am 5'6" and made it clear I did not wish to meet men shorter than myself and was appalled when 2 men at the table (this was the 1st dinner) were indeed shorter than myself. They also say they are really "picky" about choosing their members - that all members are professionals -... More...

  • Awsome service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never regretted the fact that I paid 4000 dollars when I signed up 18 months ago. At the time, I wasn’t so happy but if I would have known how they were going to help me, I wouldn’t have worried about it so much. The story starts less than two years ago when I walked into their local office in San Francisco. I wasn’t sure what to expect or how things would go when I walked in. Just by seeing how clean and neat the office was made me feel better. The office had a very warm vibe. The staff was really nice and accommodating. I did not at all get the feeling like... More...

  • disappointing

I agree that they treat their clients, who are mostly professionals, like sheep that they push around to fill tables. As a man, I can go to as many dinners or events as I wish because they are always short of men. That's not their fault though, but they are dishonest in selling dinners and events to me. They often call me last minute saying they have a really cute woman they want me to meet. Once you hear that line a couple times, you know that they just need bodies to fill tables. Also, they do not do a good job of screening who might be good matches for me. They know a lot about me... More...
