  • Table for Six Sydney

Do not bother signing with Table for Six in Australia. Paid over $400 for a 12 month membership and had to sign an agreement. The owner is clearly only after money and was happy to take my credit card details over the phone. When I did attend a dinner, it was clear that there were fill in males who were well over the set age limit. I dared to complain via email about my membership and all I received was standard cut and paste replies about the agreement. When I tried to call I was advised that I could only communicate with them via email and they would not consider a refund. A money making... More...

  • Table for Six is a Scam!!!

I paid a lot of money for a 12-18 month dating service with Table for Six. The sales person was VERY pushy, and was not completely forthcoming. I went on three dates in the 18 month period, and they were always a long distance away. My "matchmaker" never took into consideration the distance that I was having to drive, even though I spoke to her about it. I asked for more dates, but I was ignored and they never returned my calls. The dates were much older than me and not even compatible. THEY JUST WANTED MY MONEY. I am embarrassed to say how much I paid. I wish I would... More...

  • Set up in OC by people in SF?!

I can't believe I gave this company thousands of dollars because my experience has been sooooooo bad. The woman that interviewed me made promises that haven't panned out and I heard she's been let go (go figure). I have only had two dates in 8 months, and one dinner as a "Table for Six". So I have met five men total and only ONE guy fit my profile, barely. The men have been too old, too cheap, too hung up on their Xs ... UGH!! I had a lot of matches on E-Harmony, and not enough time to sort through them. So I thought a "matchmaker" service would work... More...

  • Oversold and underwhelming service

The folks at this company are specialists -- but in deception and manipulation and clearly not matchmaking or makeovers as they state in their marketing. So save yourself THOUSANDS and don't sign up. I wasn't expect to meet a soul mate but I was at least expecting more dinners and service. (They say they are busy and have lots to do and will short and testy with you if you imply any dissatisfaction. So much for great customer service). Since I've joined in Feb. of this year they've cut down the number of days they set folks up and no longer have social events... More...

  • Very bad experience

I joined T46 last year and paid nearly $2000 for the service. For the past year, they only introduced me to 2 dinners & 1 one-on-one meeting. They might not have enough men to introduce to women, but I don't think they have kept their words as they stated. The sale was VERY pushy and all they want is money. Later when I spoke to one of the member, and he even told me he joined for free ! I was furious. Why do rest of us have to pay $2000 or more, while other members join for free and went to dinner all the time? It's a very unfair practice, and when I wrote an email... More...

  • Table

I was a member with Table For Six for about two years mainly because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of disputing the contract. I rarely write reviews, but I feel inclined to share my experience in this case. During those two years, I went to roughly 20 dinners, and participated in a few events, so I have participated enough to give an accurate review. I joined Table for Six when I just turned 27, which turned out to be very young relative to the rest of the members. During my two years, I met exactly 6 women that were my age or younger. I ended up dating a few of these... More...

  • no thanks

I signed up and was soon disappointed when they had men double my age sit at my table and attend the larger group events. At many of the events women chat in the rest room about how disappointing this organization is. All they want is your money, and they really do not match you up at all. I am 5'6" and made it clear I did not wish to meet men shorter than myself and was appalled when 2 men at the table (this was the 1st dinner) were indeed shorter than myself. They also say they are really "picky" about choosing their members - that all members are professionals -... More...
